Meet Your Practitioner

Lauren Kiefer is a New York State licensed acupuncturist who graduated with her Master of Science in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Health and Science in New York City. Having grown up in Hawaii, Lauren has long been a sports enthusiast. As a runner and surfer, understanding the human body and optimizing its efficiency are her passions.

During her “past life” as an executive in the fashion industry, regular acupuncture treatments enabled Lauren to cope with the physical toll taken by frequent international travel. She soon realized that acupuncture was not only effective at getting her sleep and digestion back on track, but that the treatments had a positive impact on her physical and mental performance as well. Her running times improved. She caught more waves. She was hooked.

Lauren has studied neuroacupuncture and the treatment of orthopedic disorders extensively and often incorporates electroacupuncture and fire cupping into her treatments. She not only treats injuries but focuses on mobility to help prevent them.
